Path control in limit handling and drifting conditions using State Dependent Riccati Equation technique

Proceedings of the Institution of mechanical engineers. Part D, journal of automobile engineering, 2020
Tyres operated at or close to their friction limits show a highly nonlinear motion to force response. This state is called limit handling. The objective of this research is to minimize lateral path tracking error while the tyres operate in limit handling.

Fake algebraic Riccati techniques and stability

IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, 1988
Summary: Conditions, sufficient and necessary, for monotonic behaviour of the solutions of the Riccati differential equation and Riccati difference equation are derived. For the optimal filtering (respectively, control) equation these results are derived without the usual requirement of detectability (respectively, stabilizability).

The shift techniques for a nonsymmetric algebraic Riccati equation

Applied Mathematics and Computation, 2013
In this paper, we want to analyze a special instance of a nonsymmetric algebraic matrix Riccati equation arising from transport theory. Traditional approaches for finding its minimal nonnegative solution are based on fixed point iterations and the speed of the convergence is linear.

A fake algebraic Riccati technique for tracking superimposed signals

Proceedings of the 39th IEEE Conference on Decision and Control (Cat. No.00CH37187), 2002
This paper describes an adaptive nonlinear filter for tracking superimposed signals. The filter gain is selected via a fake algebraic Riccati equation. A passivity approach is applied to deduce stability conditions for the filter error system. The performance is compared with an extended Kalman filter for tracking multiple frequency modulated signals.

Robust ${H_\infty }$ Control of Doubly Fed Wind Generator via State-Dependent Riccati Equation Technique

IEEE Transactions on Power Systems, 2019
A novel approach on the robust ${H_\infty }$ controller design for the doubly fed induction generator (DFIG)-based wind generation systems through the state-dependent Riccati equation (SDRE) technique is proposed in this paper.

Iterative techniques for Riccati game equations

Journal of Optimization Theory and Applications, 1977
We present a monotone iterative technique for the computation of a solution of a Riccati-type equation relevant to the theory of differential games. For this purpose, we show that the Kleinman algorithm for Riccati equation computations converges under extremely general conditions.

Development of a novel nonlinear estimator based on state-dependent Riccati equation technique for articulated vehicles

Proceedings of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Part K: Journal of Multi-body Dynamics, 2018
In this article, for the first time, a novel nonlinear estimator based on state-dependent Riccati equation filter technique is developed for state estimation of the articulated heavy vehicles.

State-dependent Riccati equation techniques: an overview

Proceedings of the 1997 American Control Conference (Cat. No.97CH36041), 1997
State-dependent Riccati equation (SDRE) techniques are rapidly emerging as general design methods which provide a systematic and effective means of designing nonlinear controllers, observers, and filters. This paper provides an overview of several SDRE design techniques including SDRE nonlinear regulation, SDRE nonlinear H/sub /spl infin//, SDRE ...
