On Gradient Ricci Solitons

open access: yesJournal of Geometric Analysis, 2011
In the first part of the paper we derive integral curvature estimates for complete gradient shrinking Ricci solitons. Our results and the recent work of Lopez-Rio imply rigidity of gradient shrinking Ricci solitons with harmonic Weyl tensor.

LP-Kenmotsu Manifolds Admitting η-Ricci Solitons and Spacetime

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, 2022
In the present paper, LP-Kenmotsu manifolds admitting η-Ricci solitons have been studied. Moreover, some results for η-Ricci solitons in LP-Kenmotsu manifolds in the spacetime of general relativity have also been proved.

Results of Hyperbolic Ricci Solitons

open access: yesSymmetry, 2023
We obtain some properties of a hyperbolic Ricci soliton with certain types of potential vector fields, and we point out some conditions when it reduces to a trivial Ricci soliton.

Rigidity of gradient Ricci Solitons [PDF]

open access: yesPacific Journal of Mathematics, 2007
We define a gradient Ricci soliton to be rigid if it is a flat bundle $% N\times_{\Gamma}\mathbb{R}^{k}$ where $N$ is Einstein. It is known that not all gradient solitons are rigid.

Ricci solitons - The equation point of view [PDF]

open access: yesmanuscripta mathematica, 2008
We discuss some classification results for Ricci solitons, that is, self similar solutions of the Ricci Flow. Some simple proofs of known results will be presented. In detail, we will take the equation point of view, trying to avoid the tools provided by

Conformally Flat Siklos Metrics Are Ricci Solitons

open access: yesAxioms, 2020
We study and solve the Ricci soliton equation for an arbitrary locally conformally flat Siklos metric, proving that such spacetimes are always Ricci solitons.

Characterizations of Trivial Ricci Solitons

open access: yesAdvances in Mathematical Physics, 2020
Finding characterizations of trivial solitons is an important problem in geometry of Ricci solitons. In this paper, we find several characterizations of a trivial Ricci soliton.

A Note on Ricci Solitons [PDF]

open access: yesSymmetry, 2020
In this paper, we characterize trivial Ricci solitons. We observe the important role of the energy function f of a Ricci soliton (half the squared length of the potential vector field) in the charectrization of trivial Ricci solitons. We find three characterizations of connected trivial Ricci solitons by imposing different restrictions on the energy ...

h-Almost Ricci–Yamabe Solitons in Paracontact Geometry

open access: yesMathematics, 2022
In this article, we classify h-almost Ricci–Yamabe solitons in paracontact geometry. In particular, we characterize para-Kenmotsu manifolds satisfying h-almost Ricci–Yamabe solitons and 3-dimensional para-Kenmotsu manifolds obeying h-almost gradient ...

Solitonic View of Generic Contact CR-Submanifolds of Sasakian Manifolds with Concurrent Vector Fields

open access: yesMathematics, 2023
This paper mainly devotes to the study of some solitons such as Ricci and Yamabe solitons and also their combination called Ricci-Yamabe solitons.
