ABSTRACT Biofloc technology (BFT) offers a sustainable aquaculture strategy; however, the value of its byproduct, biofloc meal (BFM), as a feed ingredient requires validation for key species. This study evaluated the use of BFM from a tilapia–molasses system as a feed ingredient for white cachama (Piaractus orinoquensis) juveniles.

Development and Characterization of Low‐Glycemic Couscous Enriched With β‐Glucans and Proteins
Traditional couscous production with 50/50 blends of different raw materials (wheat, barley and lentil). ABSTRACT In this study, a novel functional couscous with reduced glycemic potential was developed by enrichment of traditional couscous with β‐glucan and protein through the addition of hull‐less barley (cv. Chifaa) and lentil flours.

Effect of rice hull amendment in green roof substrates
The use of waste and locally available materials could improve the sustainability of green roofs. Therefore, a study was conducted to evaluate the potential of a rice hulls in the organic and inorganic portion of green roof substrates. Three substrate mixtures were prepared at the site by mixing locally available materials.

Improving the Antioxidant Activity and Consumer Acceptance of Rice Snacks Fortified With Barley
ABSTRACT Although ricebased snacks are popular, they are primarily composed of refined starch and often lack dietary fiber and bioactive compounds. Barley is rich in these compounds; however, its incorporation into rice‐based products often results in undesirable changes in physicochemical and sensory properties. Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate
