Rice Water Weevil Control, 1990 [PDF]
Abstract The objective of the experiment was to compare RWW control among insecticide treatments. The test was performed at the California Rice Experiment Station, Biggs, in 1990 using a RCBD with 4 replications of 2 insecticide treatments and an untreated control.

Water Saving in Rice-Wheat Systems
Water shortage is a major constraint to sustaining and increasing the productivity of rice-wheat systems. Saving water can be elusive in that reducing seepage, percolation and runoff losses from fields does not necessarily save water if it can be ...

Rice is a profligate user of water. It takes 3,000–5,000 liters to produce 1 kilogram of rice, which is about 2 to 3 times more than to produce 1 kilogram of other cereals such as wheat or maize. Until recently, this amount of water has been taken for granted.

Local Thermal Conductivity Patterning in Rotating Lattice Crystals of Anisotropic Sb2S3
Microscale control of thermal conductivity in Sb2S3 is demonstrated via laser‐induced rotating lattice crystals. Thermal conductivity imaging reveals marked thermal transport anisotropy, with the c axis featuring amorphous‐like transport, whereas in‐plane directions (a, b) exhibit 3.5x and 1.7x larger thermal conductivity.
