Analysis of Immunoprotectivity of the Recombinant OmpA of Rickettsia heilongjiangensis
Annals of the New York Academy of Sciences, 2005Abstract: A truncated gene ompA was amplified from Rickettsia heilongjiangensis isolated in China and a 56‐kDa truncated OmpA protein was expressed in E. coli cells transformed with the ompA‐recombined expression plasmid. High levels of serum antibodies to R.

Objective. To study the dynamics of selenium level and some indexes of oxidative status of blood serum in patients with the moderate form of tick-borne rickettsiosis caused by Rickettsiaе heilongjiangensis, in Khabarovsk Region, depending on the treatment in order to optimize the pathogenetic therapy. Materials and methods.

Vector-Borne and Zoonotic Diseases
Background: Spotted fever group rickettsioses, caused by rickettsiae of the spotted fever group, pose a significant zoonotic threat to public health. In endemic areas of Anhui Province, China, the ecology and transmission dynamics of these pathogens remain under investigation.

The Far East is distinguished by high rates of tick-borne rickettsiosis (TBR), which is dominant among all natural focal infections. It is important to note that the etiological agent of TBR in Khabarovsk Territory is R. heilongjiangensis. In general, in the region in the period 2022–2023, a pronounced upward trend in incidence was revealed (by 55.85 %)
