Source identification for mobile devices, based on wavelet transforms combined with sensor imperfections [PDF]
One of the most relevant applications of digital image forensics is to accurately identify the device used for taking a given set of images, a problem called source identification.

A Note on Fractional Gabor Systems in L2(ℝ)
In this article, fractional Gabor frames in L2(ℝ) are defined and studied. Also, a finite linear combination of fractional Gabor frames for L2(ℝ) is discussed. It is proved that under certain conditions, a finite linear combination of fractional Gabor frames is a fractional Gabor frame for L2(ℝ).

The curvelet transform for image denoising [PDF]
We describe approximate digital implementations of two new mathematical transforms, namely, the ridgelet transform and the curvelet transform. Our implementations offer exact reconstruction, stability against perturbations, ease of implementation, and ...

Invariant Generalised Ridgelet-Fourier for shape-based image retrieval [PDF]
A new shape descriptor called the Invariant Generalised Ridgelet-Fourier is defined for the application of Content-based Image Retrieval (CBIR). The proposed spectral-based method is invariant to rotation, scaling, and translation (RST) as well as able ...

RECOGNITION METHOD OF METAL FRACTURE IMAGES BASED ONEMPIRICAL RIDGELET-2DPCA
The empirical ridgelet transform has the ability of direction selectivity and adaptive decomposition. 2 DPCA can directly use the original image toconstruct the covariance matrix.

Ridgelet-based signature for natural image classification [PDF]
This paper presents an approach to grouping natural scenes into (semantically) meaningful categories. The proposed approach exploits the statistics of natural scenes to define relevant image categories.

Generalized Ridgelet-Fourier for M×N images: determining the normalization criteria [PDF]
Ridgelet transform (RT) has gained its popularity due to its capability in dealing with line singularities effectively. Many of the existing RT however is only applied to images of size M×M or the M×N images will need to be pre-segmented into M×M sub ...

A Novel Optimized Semi-Blind Scheme for Color Image Watermarking
Image watermarking is a robust solution for solving key issues like copyright protection and proof of ownership of digital data. Existing schemes of image watermarking mostly used grayscale or binary images as embedded watermarks, while only a few ...

Second-Generation Curvelets on the Sphere [PDF]
Curvelets are efficient to represent highly anisotropic signal content, such as a local linear and curvilinear structure. First-generation curvelets on the sphere, however, suffered from blocking artefacts.
