Kubo-Martin-Schwinger relation for an interacting mobile impurity

open access: yesPhysical Review Research, 2023
In this work we study the Kubo-Martin-Schwinger (KMS) relation in the Yang-Gaudin model of an interacting mobile impurity. We use the integrability of the model to compute the dynamic injection and ejection Green's functions at finite temperatures.

Asymptotics of Polynomials Orthogonal with respect to a Logarithmic Weight

open access: yes, 2018
In this paper we compute the asymptotic behavior of the recurrence coefficients for polynomials orthogonal with respect to a logarithmic weight $w(x){\rm d}x = \log \frac{2k}{1-x}{\rm d}x$ on $(-1,1)$, $k > 1$, and verify a conjecture of A. Magnus ...

A highly accurate numerical method for solving boundary value problem of generalized Bagley‐Torvik equation

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, EarlyView.
A highly accurate numerical method is given for the solution of boundary value problem of generalized Bagley‐Torvik (BgT) equation with Caputo derivative of order 0<β<2$$ 0<\beta <2 $$ by using the collocation‐shooting method (C‐SM). The collocation solution is constructed in the space Sm+1(1)$$ {S}_{m+1}^{(1)} $$ as piecewise polynomials of degree at ...

The Soliton Solutions for Nonlocal Multi-Component Higher-Order Gerdjikov–Ivanov Equation via Riemann–Hilbert Problem

open access: yesFractal and Fractional
The Lax pairs of the higher-order Gerdjikov–Ivanov (HOGI) equation are extended to the multi-component formula. Then, we first derive four different types of nonlocal group reductions to this new system.

On the Riemann-Hilbert problem in multiply connected domains

open access: yesOpen Mathematics, 2016
We proved the existence of multivalent solutions with the infinite number of branches for the Riemann-Hilbert problem in the general settings of finitely connected domains bounded by mutually disjoint Jordan curves, measurable coefficients and measurable

Exponential Stability of Higher Order Fractional Neutral Stochastic Differential Equation Via Integral Contractors

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, Volume 48, Issue 6, Page 6425-6446, April 2025.
ABSTRACT The well‐posedness results for mild solutions to the fractional neutral stochastic differential system with Rosenblatt process with Hurst index Ĥ∈12,1$$ \hat{H}\in \left(\frac{1}{2},1\right) $$ is discussed in this article. To demonstrate the results, the concept of bounded integral contractors is combined with the stochastic result and ...

Weyl metrics and Wiener-Hopf factorization

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
We consider the Riemann-Hilbert factorization approach to the construction of Weyl metrics in four space-time dimensions. We present, for the first time, a rigorous proof of the remarkable fact that the canonical Wiener-Hopf factorization of a matrix ...

Band‐Pass Filtering With High‐Dimensional Time Series. A Synthetic Indicator of the Medium‐to‐Long Run Component of Growth

open access: yesJournal of Time Series Analysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The paper deals with the construction of a synthetic indicator of economic growth, obtained by projecting a quarterly measure of aggregate economic activity, namely gross domestic product (GDP), into the space spanned by a finite number of smooth principal components, representative of the medium‐to‐long‐run component of economic growth of a ...

Exact Solutions for a Class of Matrix Riemann-Hilbert Problems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Consider the matrix Riemann-Hilbert problem. In contrast to scalar Riemann-Hilbert problems, a general matrix Riemann-Hilbert problem cannot be solved in term of Sokhotskyi-Plemelj integrals.

Change Point Analysis for Functional Data Using Empirical Characteristic Functionals

open access: yesJournal of Time Series Analysis, Volume 47, Issue 3, Page 612-631, May 2026.
ABSTRACT We develop a new method to detect change points in the distribution of functional data based on integrated CUSUM processes of empirical characteristic functionals. Asymptotic results are presented under conditions allowing for low‐order moments and serial dependence in the data establishing the limiting null‐distribution of the proposed test ...
