Existence Results for Fractional Differential Equations with Multistrip Riemann–Stieltjes Integral Boundary Conditions

open access: yesDiscrete Dynamics in Nature and Society, 2018
This paper is concerned with the existence and multiplicity of the positive solutions for a fractional boundary value problem with multistrip Riemann–Stieltjes integral boundary conditions.

On the Riemann-Stieltjes Integral [PDF]

open access: yesMathematics Interdisciplinary Research, 2022
This study contributes to the theory of Riemann-Stieltjes integral. We prove that if all continuous piecewise linear functions are Riemann-Stieltjes integrable with respect to a bounded integrator α : [a,b] → R, then α must be of bounded variation on [a ...

Existence Solution for Coupled System of Langevin Fractional Differential Equations of Caputo Type with Riemann-Stieltjes Integral Boundary Conditions

open access: yesSymmetry, 2021
By employing Shauder fixed-point theorem, this work tries to obtain the existence results for the solution of a nonlinear Langevin coupled system of fractional order whose nonlinear terms depend on Caputo fractional derivatives.

Boundary value problems for Hilfer type sequential fractional differential equations and inclusions involving Riemann–Stieltjes integral multi-strip boundary conditions

open access: yes, 2021
In this paper, we study boundary value problems for sequential fractional differential equations and inclusions involving Hilfer fractional derivatives, supplemented with Riemann–Stieltjes integral multi-strip boundary conditions.

AN EFFICIENT FOUR-POINT QUADRATURE SCHEME FOR RIEMANN-STIELTJES INTEGRAL

open access: yesJOURNAL OF MECHANICS OF CONTINUA AND MATHEMATICAL SCIENCES, 2021
In this work, a new four-point quadrature scheme is proposed for efficient approximation of the Riemann-Stieltjes integral (RS-integral). The composite form of the proposed scheme is also derived for the RS-integral from the concept of precision ...

A New Class of ψ-Caputo Fractional Differential Equations and Inclusion

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, 2021
In the present research work, we investigate the existence of a solution for new boundary value problems involving fractional differential equations with ψ-Caputo fractional derivative supplemented with nonlocal multipoint, Riemann–Stieltjes integral and

Repeated Integration and Explicit Formula for the $n$-th Integral of $x^m (\ln x)^{m'}$ [PDF]

open access: yesOpen Journal of Mathematical Sciences, Vol. 6 (2022), Issue 1, pp. 51-75, 2021
Repeated integration is a major topic of integral calculus. In this article, we study repeated integration. In particular, we study repeated integrals and recurrent integrals. For each of these integrals, we develop reduction formulae for both the definite as well as indefinite form.

On a System of Sequential Caputo Fractional Differential Equations with Nonlocal Boundary Conditions

open access: yesFractal and Fractional, 2023
We obtain existence and uniqueness results for the solutions of a system of Caputo fractional differential equations which contain sequential derivatives, integral terms, and two positive parameters, supplemented with general coupled Riemann–Stieltjes ...

Aspects of the screw function corresponding to the Riemann zeta‐function

open access: yesJournal of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 108, Issue 4, Page 1448-1487, October 2023., 2023
Abstract We introduce a screw function corresponding to the Riemann zeta‐function and study its properties from various aspects. Typical results are several equivalent conditions for the Riemann hypothesis in terms of the screw function. One of them can be considered an analog of so‐called Weil's positivity or Li's criterion.

Some statistical challenges in automated driving systems

open access: yesApplied Stochastic Models in Business and Industry, Volume 39, Issue 5, Page 629-652, September/October 2023., 2023
AbstractAutomated driving systems are rapidly developing. However, numerous open problems remain to be resolved to ensure this technology progresses before its widespread adoption. A large subset of these problems are, or can be framed as, statistical decision problems.
