Boundary control problem for the telegraph equation

open access: yesVestnik Samarskogo Gosudarstvennogo Tehničeskogo Universiteta. Seriâ: Fiziko-Matematičeskie Nauki, 2012
In the paper we consider the boundary control problem for the telegraph equation. We study the case of the short period of control, when the initial and final data determine the solution in two regions, having the common part.

Use Sequences to improve the numerical Riemann method to calculate integrals [PDF]

open access: yesمجلة التربية والعلم, 1999
The purpose of this research is the improvement of the numerical Riemann's integral using series. Riemann's method displayed in this research and we suggested an algorithm to improve the convergence using Geometric series, p-series and Taylor series for ...

The Virial Expansion of the Hydrogen Equation of State in Comparison to PIMC Simulations: The Quasiparticle Concept, IPD, and Ionization Degree

open access: yesContributions to Plasma Physics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The properties of plasmas in the low‐density limit are described by virial expansions. Analytical expressions are known for the lowest virial coefficients from Green's function approaches. Recently, accurate path‐integral Monte Carlo (PIMC) simulations were performed for the hydrogen plasma at low densities by Filinov and Bonitz (Phys. Rev.

Solutions with concentration and cavitation to the Riemann problem for the isentropic relativistic Euler system for the extended Chaplygin gas

open access: yesOpen Mathematics, 2019
The solutions to the Riemann problem for the isentropic relativistic Euler system for the extended Chaplygin gas are constructed for all kinds of situations by using the method of phase plane analysis.

On the solution of the space-time fractional cubic nonlinear Schrödinger equation

open access: yesResults in Physics, 2018
The space–time fractional nonlinear Schrödinger equation is studied based on the modified Riemann–Liouville derivative. The fractional mapping expansion method is used to find analytical solution of this model.

Artin's Conjecture, Turing's Method, and the Riemann Hypothesis [PDF]

open access: yesExperimental Mathematics, 2006
We present a group-theoretic criterion under which one may verify the Artin conjecture for some (non-monomial) Galois representations, up to finite height in the complex plane. In particular, the criterion applies to S5 and A5 representations. Under more general conditions, the technique allows for the possibility of verifying the Riemann hypothesis ...

Creep properties and constitutive model of diabase in deep water conveyance tunnels

open access: yesDeep Underground Science and Engineering, EarlyView.
The axial and lateral creep characteristics of diabase were analyzed based on compression creep tests. The nonlinear viscoelastic‐plastic model capable of describing the whole creep process was established based on the fractional derivative and damage theories.

On Cauchy problem for system of n Euler-Poisson-Darboux equations in the plane

open access: yesVestnik Samarskogo Gosudarstvennogo Tehničeskogo Universiteta. Seriâ: Fiziko-Matematičeskie Nauki, 2012
The system of Euler-Poisson-Darboux equations is considered, the Cauchy problem is solved for the case of real n×n matrix-coefficient with one real eigenvalue or two complex conjugate eigenvalues with real part in the interval (−1/2, 1/2).

Robust Control Using a Matrix Converter to Enhance Wind Turbine Systems

open access: yesEnergy Science &Engineering, EarlyView.
This study uses a more efficient and effective solution to improve the operational performance of a wind turbine‐based power system. This system uses a doubly fed induction generator and relies on a matrix converter and fractional‐order proportional–integral controller.
