Target Detection Through Riemannian Geometric Approach With Application to Drone Detection
Radar detection of small drones in presence of noise and clutter is considered from a differential geometry viewpoint. The drone detection problem is challenging due to low radar cross section (RCS) of drones, especially in cluttered environments and ...

Optimization of 3D‐Printed Structured Packings—Current State and Future Developments
This paper gives an overview about structured packing development for distillation, surveying heuristic development cycles, computational fluid dynamics simulations, and additive manufacturing techniques. The emerging application of shape optimization to improve packings is emphasized, and its benefits, impact, and limitations are discussed.

Stochastic Gradient Descent in High Dimensions for Multi‐Spiked Tensor PCA
ABSTRACT We study the high‐dimensional dynamics of online stochastic gradient descent (SGD) for the multi‐spiked tensor model. This multi‐index model arises from the tensor principal component analysis (PCA) problem with multiple spikes, where the goal is to estimate the unknown signal vectors within the N$N$‐dimensional unit sphere through maximum ...

Conformal and Geodesic Mappings onto Some Special Spaces
In this paper, we consider conformal mappings of Riemannian spaces onto Ricci-2-symmetric Riemannian spaces and geodesic mappings of spaces with affine connections onto Ricci-2-symmetric spaces.

Brain–Computer Interfaces: The Dawn of a New Era in Disease Treatment
This study investigates the potential of brain–computer interface (BCI) technology in treating neuropsychiatric disorders, such as movement and communication barriers. Our review examines the history, signal paradigms, and diverse applications of BCI while also discussing ongoing research into novel materials and emerging technologies that offer ...

Optimal inequalities involving Casorati curvatures for Riemannian maps to nearly Kaehler manifolds
We establish a general inequality and optimal inequalities involving the normalized Casorati curvatures and the generalized normalized Casorati curvatures within the horizontal space of a Riemannian map from a Riemannian manifold to a nearly Kaehler ...
