El presente artículo intenta responder la pregunta si acaso las personas pesimistas son también cautelosas. En dos estudios independientes se correlacionó el estilo explicativo optimista/pesimista y el grado de riesgo/cautela de los participantes. Los hallazgos del primer estudio sugieren que los pesimistas son también cautelosos.
