Presence of Riga Plate on MHD Caputo Casson Fluid: An Analytical Study

Journal of Advanced Research in Fluid Mechanics and Thermal Sciences, 2022
Driven by technological advancement, the Riga plate can be seen as a key feature in developing the engineering world. As such, this study aims to investigate the effects of an accelerating semi-infinite Riga plate over a convective flow of MHD Casson fluid incorporated with the Caputo fractional derivative.

Hybrid nanofluid stagnation point flow past a slip shrinking Riga plate

Chinese Journal of Physics, 2022
Magnetic nanofluids cover many of uses since their characteristics are externally controllable, and their physical properties may vary with the nanoparticle volume fraction and magnetic field strength. Hybrid nanofluid also has been commercialized as the advancement of traditional nanofluid.

Marangoni Driven Boundary Layer Flow of Carbon Nanotubes Toward a Riga Plate

open access: yesFrontiers in Physics, 2020
The objective of this article is to explore radiative Marangoni boundary layer flow of carbon nanotubes along a surface that is an electromagnetic actuator, such as a Riga surface. A comparative study is conducted to investigate the behavior of Lorentz forces on the basis of nanoparticle temperature fluxes with two different types of carbon nanotubes ...

Squeezing flow past a Riga plate with chemical reaction and convective conditions

Journal of Molecular Liquids, 2017
Abstract Objective of current study is to explore the convective heat transfer of electromagnetohydrodynamic squeezed flow past a Riga plate. Riga plate is known as electromagnetic actuator which is the combination of changeless magnets and a spanwise adjusted cluster of alternating electrodes mounted on a plane surface.

Electromagnetohydrodynamic nanofluid flow past a porous Riga plate containing gyrotactic microorganism

Neural Computing and Applications, 2017
Here we have numerically examined the effects of EMHD in flow of nanofluid past a porous Riga surface with gyrotactic microorganism and nanoparticles. Modeling is presented via Grinberg term and a Lorentz force parallel to the wall of a Riga plate. The fluid is electrically conducting, and the Lorentz force decreases exponentially.

Jeffrey nanofluid flow near a Riga plate: Spectral quasilinearization approach

Heat Transfer, 2020
AbstractThis article attempts to report the flow mechanism of Jeffrey nanofluid flow on a Riga plate integrating the influences of viscous dissipation, irregular heat source/sink, Brownian motion, and thermophoretic force. Nondimensionalization of mathematical model describing the flow system is accomplished by a set of compatible transformations.

Effects of thermal radiation and electromagnetohydrodynamics on viscous nanofluid through a Riga plate

Multidiscipline Modeling in Materials and Structures, 2016
Purpose The purpose of this paper is to analyze theoretically the effects of thermal radiation with electrohydrodynamics through a Riga plate. An incompressible and irrotational fluid with constant density is taken into account. The governing flow problem is modeled with the help of linear momentum, thermal energy equation and nanoparticle ...
