Right bundle branch block pattern after uncomplicated right ventricular outflow tract pacing in a patient with a left sided superior vena cava and corrected tetralogy of Fallot

open access: yesIndian Pacing and Electrophysiology Journal, 2018
Usually an electrocardiogram after right ventricular (RV) pacing should yield left bundle branch block (LBBB) pattern. However, the presence of right bundle branch block (RBBB) pattern after pacemaker implantation should alert the physician to a ...

Meta‐Rod Mechanical Metamaterials With Programmable Reconfiguration

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Existing mechanical metamaterials achieve programmable large deformations in planar square or cubic configurations, restricted by required complex boundary conditions. This research proposes a 1D metamaterial, Meta‐rod, with linear, bending, twisting, area, and volume deformation modes.

Right Bundle Branch Block: Current Considerations

open access: yesCurrent Cardiology Reviews, 2021
RBBB, a pattern seen on the 12-lead ECG, results when normal electrical activity in the His-Purkinje system is interrupted for some reason. The normal sequence of activation is altered in RBBB, with a resultant characteristic appearance on the ECG manifest by a widened QRS complex and changes in the directional vectors of the R and S waves.

Stacking‐Engineered Magnonic Topology and Transport in Honeycomb Homobilayers

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Topological magnons have emerged as a promising platform for dissipationless bosonic transport. However, a straightforward and effective strategy to engineer such topological states in real materials has yet to be fully realized. Here, a general scheme for controlling magnonic topological states via stacking engineering in van der Waals ...

The global anomalies of (2,0) superconformal field theories in six dimensions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
We compute the global gauge and gravitational anomalies of the A-type (2,0) superconformal quantum field theories in six dimensions, and conjecture a formula valid for the D- and E-type theories.

2D Magnetic and Topological Quantum Materials and Devices for Ultralow Power Spintronics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
2D magnets and topological quantum materials enable ultralow‐power spintronics by combining robust magnetic order with symmetry‐protected, Berry‐curvature‐driven transport. Fundamentals of 2D anisotropy and spin‐orbit‐coupling induced band inversion are linked to scalable growth and vdW stacking.

The main trunk of the left bundle branch is not part of the re-entry circuit of verapamil-sensitive idiopathic left ventricular tachycardia

open access: yesJournal of Arrhythmia, 2012
We report the case of a 19-year-old man with verapamil-sensitive idiopathic left ventricular tachycardia (ILVT), who had paroxysmal palpitations for 3 years.

Right Bundle Branch Block [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Before we discuss bundle branch blocks, a review of normal cardiac conduction is warranted. In a normal heart, cardiac conduction begins with stimulus from the sinoatrial (SA) node.

Longer right to left ventricular activation delay at cardiac resynchronization therapy implantation is associated with improved clinical outcome in left bundle branch block patients. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
AIMS: Data on longer right to left ventricular activation delay (RV-LV AD) predicting clinical outcome after cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) by left bundle branch block (LBBB) are limited.
