2021Housing is part of social protection and has a specific mention in the programme of the Sustainable Development Goals. The basic call of the COVID -19 lockdown was: stay home, stay safe. This assumes that one must have a home to be safe in. Millions of people do not have the luxury of a safe and secure home.
