This work reports the in situ fabrication of Escherichia coli@covalent organic frameworks (E. coli@COFs) in phosphate‐buffered saline. The COFs form an exoskeleton on E. coli, protecting intracellular β‐glucosidase (Ssbgl) while enhancing mass transfer.

This review discusses recent advances in PEG‐alternative LNP designs, including non‐PEG polymers, zwitterionic lipids, and polypeptides.
