A generalised wage rigidity result

International Journal of Industrial Organization, 2002
Abstract This paper provides an alternative explanation of the empirically observed wage rigidity in industrialized economies. We provide sufficient conditions under which the negotiated wage in unionized imperfectly competitive industries is independent of a number of product market features, as well as of the bargaining institution (Right-to-Manage

Representation Results for Equivariant Rigid Analytic Functions

Algebras and Representation Theory, 2010
Let \({\mathbb C}_p\) be the completion of an algebraic closure \(\bar{\mathbb Q}_p\) of the field of \(p\)-adic numbers. Let \(G:=\mathrm{Gal}(\bar{\mathbb Q}_p/ {\mathbb Q})\) which is isomorphic with the group \(\mathrm{Gal}_{\mathrm{cont}}({\mathbb C}_p/{\mathbb Q}_p)\) of continuous automorphisms of \({\mathbb C}_p\) over \({\mathbb Q}_p\). Let \({

Results of bone grafting after rigid fixation

Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, 1984
Results of bone grafting in ten cases of primary mandibular reconstruction using rib grafts and 62 cases of secondary mandibular reconstruction using iliac bone grafts or rib transplants are reported. Two (20%) of the primary transplants were lost and one of the secondary transplants was totally lost and another was partially lost (3.2%) because of ...

Fractures of the dens—the results of non-rigid immobilization

Injury, 1988
A series of 42 patients with fractures of the dens is reported. All patients were initially treated on traction and then immobilized in a SOMI brace or a cervical collar with a chin piece. Union was obtained in 37 patients. There has been no case of delayed myelopathy in the severely malunited fractures.

[Rigid ureteroscopy: results and complications].

Actas urologicas espanolas, 1990
We make an evaluation of 66 ureteroscopies (URS) carried out in our Service over a period of 18 months. In 55 cases it was done for therapeutic purposes in ureteral lithiasis, and in 11 cases it was for diagnostic purposes. In the treatment of lithiasis resolutive effectivity at the first attempt was 68%, in 9% ureterolithotomy had to be performed due ...

Some rigidity results on q-solitons

Advances in Geometry
Abstract We obtain rigidity and triviality results for q-solitons, assuming that the structure tensor q satisfies a condition analogous to the twice contracted second Bianchi identity (in particular, divergence free and trace free) and that the soliton vector field is projective and an infinitesimal harmonic transformation. In particular,

[Rigid ureteroscopy. Results and complications].

Actas urologicas espanolas, 1992
Analysis of results and complications of retrograde rigid ureterorenoscopies (URS) performed in our unit between August 1985 and June 1990. Our series includes 122 URS performed in 106 patients: 68% female and 32% male. A rigid ureteroscopy Storz 11.5 Ch was used. URS indications were: 72% treatment of ureteral lithiasis, 14% diagnosis, 7% treatment of
