An unusual titanosaur axis from the Upper Cretaceous of Brazil and its significance for sauropod anatomy and systematics
The Anatomical Record, EarlyView.Abstract
The Upper Cretaceous São José do Rio Preto Formation (Bauru Group, southeastern Brazil) has yielded a fragmentary but taxonomically diverse record of titanosaur sauropods, although elements from cervical series remain scarce. Here, we describe a nearly complete sauropod axis from the Vila Ventura Paleontological Area, representing an uncommon ...Bruno A. Navarro, Jeffrey A. Wilson Mantilla, Jhonata H. A. Arthritis &Rheumatology, EarlyView. Objective
Vacuoles E1 enzyme X‐linked autoinflammatory somatic syndrome (VEXAS) is a recently identified rare genetic disorder associated with somatic mutations in the UBA1 gene. VEXAS presents with a combination of inflammatory and hematologic manifestations, leading to increased morbidity and mortality.Arsene Mekinian, Sophie Georgin‐Lavialle, Marcela A. Arthritis &Rheumatology, Accepted Article. Objectives
Femoroacetabular impingement (FAI) and synovitis have been recognized as essential factors for developing osteoarthritis (OA) in the hip joints. However, little is known about altered synovial cellular compositions, their associated transcriptomic profiles, and cell‐cell interactions in FAI and hip OA.Gulzada Kulzhanova, Alexis Klee, Mina Botros, Victoria L. Arthritis &Rheumatology, Accepted Article.Introduction
Rheumatoid sarcopenia, characterized by the progressive loss of skeletal muscle mass and function, is a frequent comorbidity in rheumatoid arthritis (RA), linked to prolonged, severe systemic inflammation. Purinergic signaling (adenosine, AMP, and ATP) plays a crucial role in inflammation, myogenesis, and muscle hypertrophy.Miguel Marco‐Bonilla, Maria Fresnadillo, Irene Sanchez‐Platero, Macarena de la Riva‐Bueno, Fernando Huete‐Toral, Gonzalo Carracedo, Carmen Conde, Yolanda Benitez, Pablo Minguez, Sandra Carolina Cifuentes, Joaquin Rams, Gabriel Herrero‐Beaumont, Raquel Largo, Aránzazu Mediero +13 morewiley +1 more source
