Persistent currents in a bosonic mixture in the ring geometry
In this paper we analyze the possibility of persistent currents of a two-species bosonic mixture in the one-dimensional ring geometry. We extend the arguments used by Bloch to obtain a criterion for the stability of persistent currents for the two ...

The Hückel–London–Pople–McWeeny approach to calculating ring currents in conjugated systems is considered in detail, especially the ‘topological’ variant of this formalism, particularly emphasised during the last five years.

ABSTRACT Background Survivors of childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) often exhibit early deficits in muscle and movement competence, which can compromise long‐term health. Integrative neuromuscular training (INT), a multifaceted approach combining fundamental movement activities with strength exercises, may help address these deficits during ...

Determination of vertical profiles of shell currents in the ionosphere [PDF]
In previous works, we found Euler potentials for the combined magnetic field of Earth's dipole, field-aligned currents, ring current, and the magnetopause surface currents (represented by Dungey's term) in the magnetosphere.

Detection of spin bias in four-terminal quantum-dot ring
In this work, we show that in a four-quantum-dot ring, via introducing a local Rashba spin-orbit interaction the spin bias in the transverse terminals can be detected by observing the charge currents in the longitudinal probes.

ABSTRACT Background Gastrointestinal graft‐versus‐host disease (GI GVHD) following hematopoietic stem cell transplant is typically managed with medical therapy, but surgery and angioembolization may be warranted in selected cases with life‐threatening complications.

Enhanced Charge and Spin Currents in the One-Dimensional Disordered Mesoscopic Hubbard Ring
We consider a one-dimensional mesoscopic Hubbard ring with and without disorder and compute charge and spin stiffness as a measure of the permanent currents. For finite disorder we identify critical disorder strength beyond which the charge currents in a

Directional dependence of spin currents induced by Aharonov-Casher phase [PDF]
We have calculated the persistent spin current of an open ring induced by the Aharonov-Casher phase. For unpolarized electrons there exist no persistent charge currents, but persistent spin currents.

ABSTRACT Background Neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) is a relapsing autoimmune disease of the central nervous system. High‐dose intravenous methylprednisolone (IVMP) is the standard first‐line therapy for acute attacks, although some patients remain refractory.
