ML Workflows for Screening Degradation‐Relevant Properties of Forever Chemicals

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The environmental persistence of per‐ and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) necessitates efficient remediation strategies. This study presents physics‐informed machine learning workflows that accurately predict critical degradation properties, including bond dissociation energies and polarizability.

Formal power series solutions of the differential equation ay'=by^m over Dedekind domains of characteristic zero

open access: yesVisnik Harkivsʹkogo Nacionalʹnogo Universitetu im. V.N. Karazina. Cepiâ Matematika, Prikladna Matematika i Mehanika
Let D be a Dedekind domain of characteristic zero, let K be the fraction field of D, and consider the Cauchy problem ay′ = byᵐ, y(0) = c₀, in the ring D[[x]], where a, b, c₀ ∈ D, a, b ≠ 0, and m ∈ ℕ.

Charge‐Transfer‐Mediated Boron Magneto‐Ionics: Towards Voltage‐Driven Multi‐Ion Transport

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates voltage‐driven multi‐ion transport in FeBO systems, revealing simultaneous motion of B, Fe, and O ions enabled by charge‐transfer effects. By tuning oxidation states through oxygen incorporation, we achieve a transition from electrostatic‐like to electrochemical magneto‐ionic behavior. The findings establish boron magneto‐ionics,

Jesmanowicz Conjecture and Gaussian Integer Ring

open access: yes
Let a,b,c be positive integers such that a2+b2=c2, 2|b,gcd(a,b)=1. In 1956, Jesmanowicz conjectured that for any positive integer w, the only solution of (aw)x+(bw)y=(cw)z in positive integers is (x, y, z) = (2, 2, 2). In this paper, based on Gaussian integer ring, we show that Je$\acute{s}$manowicz' conjecture is true for any positive integer

Quadratic reciprocity for the rational integers and the Gaussian integers [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
This thesis begins by giving a brief time line of the origins of Number Theory. It highlights the big theorems that have been constructed in this subject, along with the mathematicians who constructed them.

Molecular Atlas of Key Food Odorants Reveals Mixture‐Level Organization and Enables Generative Aroma Design

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
KFO‐Atlas reveals how real‐world aromas are organized as structured mixtures rather than individual molecules. Building on these principles, KFO‐Gen, a generative AI framework, designs perceptually valid aroma formulations and reconstructs meat‐like aromas exclusively from plant‐derived odorants, providing a foundation for mixture‐level studies and AI ...

People Counting and Positioning Using Low‐Resolution Infrared Images for FeFET‐Based In‐Memory Computing

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
In this work, low‐resolution infrared imaging is combined with a 28 nm FeFET IMC architecture to enable compact, energy‐efficient edge inference. MLC FeFET devices are experimentally characterized, and controlled multi‐level current accumulation is validated at crossbar array level.

Comparison of DeePMD, MTP, GAP, ACE and MACE Machine‐Learned Potentials for Radiation‐Damage Simulations: A User Perspective

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
The authors evaluated six machine‐learned interatomic potentials for simulating threshold displacement energies and tritium diffusion in LiAlO2 essential for tritium production. Trained on the same density functional theory data and benchmarked against traditional models for accuracy, stability, displacement energies, and cost, Moment Tensor Potential ...

Machine Learning‐Based Estimation of Experimental Artifacts and Image Quality in Fluorescence Microscopy

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, Volume 7, Issue 3, March 2025.
The use of image quality metrics in combination with machine learning enables automatic image quality assessment for fluorescence microscopy images. The method can be integrated into the experimental pipeline for optical microscopy and utilized to classify artifacts in experimental images and to build quality rankings with a reference‐free approach ...

On sums over Gaussian integers

open access: yes, 1975
The object of this paper is to give asymptotic estimates for some number theoretic sums over Gaussian integers. As a consequence of general estimates, asymptotic estimates with explicit error terms for the number of Gaussian integers with only “large ...
