Similarity of matrices with integer spectrum over the ring of integers

Russian Mathematics, 2011
For matrices with integer elements which have the same integer spectrum and whose Jordan form contains no blocks of the same order for one and the same eigenvalue, we propose a quasipolynomial-time algorithm for recognizing their similarity over the ring of integers.

A cubic ring of integers with the smallest Pythagoras number

, 2021
We prove that the ring of integers in the totally real cubic subfield $$K^{(49)}$$ K ( 49 ) of the cyclotomic field $${\mathbb {Q}}(\zeta _7)$$ Q ( ζ 7 ) has Pythagoras number equal to 4.

Ramanujan’s sum in the ring of integers of an algebraic number field

International Journal of Number Theory, 2020
In this paper, we generalize Ramanujan’s sum to the ring of integers of an algebraic number field. We also obtain the orthogonality properties of Ramanujan’s sum in the ring of integers.

On Sombor Energy of the Nilpotent Graph of the Ring of Integers Modulo ε

Journal of the Indonesian Mathematical Society
In chemical graph theory, chemical compounds are represented as graphs where atoms are represented as vertices, and the bonds connecting the atoms are represented as edges.

Examples on Some Novel Diophantine Equations Derived from the Group of Units Problem in n-Cyclic Refined Neutrosophic Rings of Integers

Galoitica: Journal of Mathematical Structures and Applications, 2022
The objective of this paper is to present a new class of Diophantine equations derived from the group of units problem of n-cyclic refined neutrosophic rings of integers by using homomorphisms between these rings and a finite Cartesian product ring of Z ...
