If \(R\) is a ring with an identity and \(F\) is a field-like semigroup (i.e., a commutative semigroup with an identity element and a zero element such that \(F \backslash \{0\}\) is a group with a unique element \(-1\) of order 2) then a signature of \(R\) over \(F\) is a mapping \(\sigma : R \to F\) such that \(\sigma (-2) = - 1\), \(\sigma (ab ...

Online/Offline Ring Signature Scheme
2009In this paper, for the first time in the literature, we introduce the notion of online/offline ring signature scheme. Our primitive enables ring signature schemes to be used in practice, since the online mechanism can be performed very efficiently and hence, it is very suitable to be used in a mobile-device environment.

Many-Time Linkable Ring Signatures
Linkable ring signatures (Liu et al., ACISP’04) is a ring signature scheme with a linking mechanism for detecting signatures from the same signer. This functionality has found many practical applications in electronic voting, cryptocurrencies, and whistleblowing systems. However, existing linkable ring signature schemes impose a fundamental limitation:Nam Tran +4 more

Contributions to Ring Signatures
Cryptography is fundamental to securing electronic communications, ensuring privacy, integrity, and authenticity. Among its core tools, digital signatures enable individuals to sign electronic documents and messages securely, verifying the signer’s identity, preserving message integrity, and ensuring non-repudiation.openaire +1 more source
