Acoustic Vortex Field Generated by Phased Modulated Concentric ring Array

2021 IEEE International Ultrasonics Symposium (IUS), 2021
Vortex field can be generated by the phase modulated circular transducer array. However, the side lobe of the beam may interfere the transmission and reception of the signals. In order to reduce the influence of side lobe, a phased modulated concentric ring array is proposed in this paper to produce the vortex field with low side lobe. By exploring the

Magnetic-field-modulated terahertz absorption spectra of a quantum ring

Applied Physics Letters, 2008
The magnetic-field-modulated terahertz absorption spectra of a real GaAs quantum ring (QR) are studied by calculating the photon-participated tunneling current through the QR. We find that the absorption of photons can lead to a reduction in the tunneling current and this manifests as dips in the current versus magnetic field curves.

Magnetic Field Modulation Enhancement Effect in Split Ring Resonator for Biological Detection

2018 IEEE 13th Annual International Conference on Nano/Micro Engineered and Molecular Systems (NEMS), 2018
We present designing a novel structure of split ring resonators which achieve a higher Q factor and electromagnetic loss by static magnetic field modulation function. These split ring resonators are fabricated by PCB technology process, which consists of two Au rings and FR-4 substrate.
