Perceived Impacts and Predictors of Cannabis Products Used by Patients with Rheumatologic Conditions in Alberta, Canada: A Multivariable Analysis of Cross‐Sectional Survey Data

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Objective This study aimed to characterize cannabis product choices (cannabinoid content and formulation) among patients with rheumatologic conditions and their associations with patient factors, patient‐reported perceived side effects, and positive impacts.

Abelian Frobenius kernels and modules over number rings

open access: yes, 1998
Some categories of groups (typically involving groups, possibly infinite, with abelian Frobenius kernels) are shown to be equivalent to categories whose objects are modules over groups and rings. The rings in question are associated with algebraic number

On the module structure of the ring of all integers of a p-adic number field [PDF]

open access: yesNagoya Mathematical Journal, 1974
Let k be a p-adic number field and o be the ring of all integers of k. Let K/k be a cyclic ramified extension of prime degree p with Galois group G. Then the ring of all integers of K is o[G]-module. The purpose of this paper is to give a necessary and sufficient condition for o[G]-modale to be indecomposable.

Mechanochemical Synthesis and Characterization of Nanostructured ErB4 and NdB4 Rare‐Earth Tetraborides

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, Volume 27, Issue 6, March 2025.
ErB4 and NdB4 nanostructured powders are produced by mechanochemical synthesis. 5 h mechanical alloying and 4 M HCl acid leaching are used in the production. ErB4 and NdB4 powders exhibit maximum magnetization of 0.4726 emu g−1 accompanied with an antiferromagnetic‐to‐paramagnetic phase transition at about TN = 18 K and 0.132 emu g−1 with a maximum at ...

Carboxylic‐Acid Functionalized Multiwalled Carbon Nanotube‐Alkane‐Based Resistive Temperature Sensor for Cold Chain Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents a reversible temperature sensor with high switching ratio, ∼103. The device is fabricated using PET‐ITO and carbon nanotube dispersions in alkane. Considering its application in cold chain logistics, a proof‐of‐concept with LED is showcased. Thus, a temperature drop below the threshold temperature (crystallization temperature of the

Simple artinian rings, hereditary rings and skew fields [PDF]

open access: yes, 1984
In this dissertation, Cohn's methods for constructing skew fields from firs are extended to methods for constructing simple artinian rings from hereditary rings; the flexibility this gives is used in order to prove results about the skew field coproduct,

On McCoy condition and semicommutative rings [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
summary:Let $R$ be a ring and $\sigma$ an endomorphism of $R$. We give a generalization of McCoy's Theorem [ Annihilators in polynomial rings, Amer. Math. Monthly 64 (1957), 28--29] to the setting of skew polynomial rings of the form $R[x;\sigma]$.

Zein‐Based Adhesives: Sustainable Extraction and Application in Bioadhesive Technologies

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Zein is extracted from corn gluten meal using a simple and scalable process with high yield (~90%). The resulting protein is applied in bioadhesives modified with Ca2+ and Fe3+ ions, exhibiting substrate‐dependent adhesion. The findings demonstrate competitive bonding performance and highlight the role of ionic interactions in tuning adhesion ...

A Numerical–Experimental Approach for Multi‐Matrix Fiber‐Reinforced Plastics Characterization Using Finite Element Model Updating

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A numerical–experimental framework is developed for characterizing multi‐matrix fiber‐reinforced polymers (MM‐FRPs) combining epoxy and polyurethane matrices. Harmonic bending tests are integrated with finite element model updating (FEMU) to simultaneously identify elastic and viscoelastic material parameters.
