Ultrasensitive AntiâStokes Luminescence Thermometry in Transition Metal Dichalcogenide Monolayers
We demonstrate a highly sensitive nanothermometer using antiâStokes photoluminescence, also known as photoluminescence upconversion (UPL), in monolayer tungsten disulfide. A strong resonantly enhanced UPL is observed, confirming the central role of optical phonons in the PL upconversion mechanism.

Residuated Lattices with Noetherian Spectrum
In this paper, we characterize residuated lattices for which the topological space of prime ideals is a Noetherian space. The notion of i-Noetherian residuated lattice is introduced and related properties are investigated.

Opportunities of Semiconducting Oxide Nanostructures as Advanced Luminescent Materials in Photonics
The review discusses the challenges of wide and ultrawide bandgap semiconducting oxides as a suitable material platform for photonics. They offer great versatility in terms of tuning microstructure, native defects, doping, anisotropy, and microâ and nanoâstructuring. The review focuses on their light emission, lightâconfinement in optical cavities, and

On generalized Rédei functions
A generalization of Rédei functions to polynomial vectors in n indeterminates over finite fields or residue class rings of integers is given by considering special types of polynomial vectors.

We demonstrate a neuromorphic synapse in 2D Fe3GaTe2 flakes. The device operates via a currentâdriven transformation from a skyrmionâlattice to a stripeâdomain state, yielding a linear anomalous Hall resistance response with a tunable slope to enable multiplyâaccumulate operations. Simulations confirm its viability in artificial neural networks.

Actuation of Cell Layers in Three Dimensions
ABSTRACT The alignment of fibers and cells in living tissues affect their mechanical properties and functionality. In this context, one can draw an analogy between tissues and nematic liquid crystal elastomers. We explore this analogy by growing fibroblasts on 2Dâpatterned substrates and observing the contraction of cell sheets upon detachment from the

The Structure of Local Rings with Singleton Basis and Their Enumeration
A local ring is an associative ring with unique maximal ideal. We associate with each Artinian local ring with singleton basis four invariants (positive integers) p,n,s,t.

A Survey of Interlayer Interaction Models for Graphene and Other 2D Materials
Van der Waals interactions arising from electronic polarization at atomically close interfaces generate corrugated interlayer energy landscapes that govern normal and tangential tractions. This review presents an overview of quantum, atomistic, analytical, and continuum modeling approaches, highlighting their roles across length scales in capturing ...
