On the rings of Saturn

Astrophysics and Space Science, 1972
Results from numerical simulations of jetstreams are used to discuss certain aspects of the dynamics of the rings of Saturn. The probable velocity distribution inside the ring system is strongly non-Maxwellian. For the rings to form and remain a minimal degree of inelasticity is required.

The Exospheric Systems of Saturn's Rings

Icarus, 1995
Abstract Because of collisional interaction with interplanetary meteoroids, the ring system of Saturn is supposedly a major source of neutral gas cloud in the inner saturnian system. We consider some new features brought about by the asymmetric impact geometry of the ring-meteoroid interaction.
