International Journal of Climatology, Volume 46, Issue 2, February 2026.This study evaluates CMIP6 model performance and future SST projections in the Tropical North Atlantic and Caribbean, revealing robust model skill and significant warming trends under both SSP2‐4.5 and SSP5‐8.5 scenarios. These findings highlight increased regional vulnerability to climate extremes, including intensified hurricanes and marine heatwaves.
