Trajectories of Child and Caregiver Positive Coping Following a Brief Emotion‐Focused Family Therapy (EFFT) Intervention

open access: yesJournal of Marital and Family Therapy, Volume 51, Issue 3, July 2025.
ABSTRACT Families play an influential role in promoting positive coping (PC) among youth, which has led to the development of family‐based interventions, such as emotion‐focused family therapy (EFFT). The present study examined trajectories of PC over 1 year following a 2‐day virtual caregiver group EFFT intervention.

Pyrimidine‐Based Four‐Coordinate O^N^O Boron Complexes: Synthesis, Photophysical and Theoretical Studies, and TADF‐Based OLED Devices

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, Volume 31, Issue 35, June 23, 2025.
This article describes the synthesis, along with the full photophysical and computational characterization, of a series of push‐pull boron complexes comprising a sterically hindered donor connected to a pyrimidine‐based O^N^O boron chelate. Incorporation of the dimethylacridan derivative into an organic light‐emitting diode led to the observation of ...

The Role of Iron Homeostasis Imbalance in T2DM‐Associated Cognitive Dysfunction: A Prospective Cohort Study Utilizing Quantitative Susceptibility Mapping

open access: yesHuman Brain Mapping, Volume 46, Issue 9, June 15, 2025.
Brain iron deposition in the caudate and putamen is elevated in Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) and mediates the link between blood glucose fluctuations and cognitive decline. These findings highlight iron homeostasis disruption as a key mechanism in T2DM‐related cognitive impairment, suggesting potential targets for early intervention. ABSTRACT Type 2
