River Regime with Special Reference to River Nile
Journal of the Hydraulics Division, 1975Regime theory of canals and rivers is reviewed and the concept of independent adjustment of slope, depth, and bed width was found irrelevent when applied to the River Nile channel, i.e., silt equation and flow equation. The silt equation relates the discharge, depth, and slope, and the median grain size of the bed.
