Using Principal Components Analysis and IDW Interpolation to Determine Spatial and Temporal Changes of Surface Water Quality of Xin’anjiang River in Huangshan, China

open access: yesInternational Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health, 2020
This study was aimed at assessing the spatial and temporal distribution of surface water quality variables of the Xin’anjiang River (Huangshan). For this purpose, 960 water samples were collected monthly along the Xin’anjiang River from 2008 to 2017 ...

Effective therapeutic targeting of CTNNB1‐mutant hepatoblastoma with WNTinib

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
WNTinib, a Wnt/CTNNB1 inhibitor, was tested in hepatoblastoma (HB) experimental models. It delayed tumor growth and improved survival in CTNNB1‐mutant in vivo models. In organoids, WNTinib outperformed cisplatin and showed enhanced efficacy in combination therapy, supporting its potential as a targeted treatment for CTNNB1‐mutated HB.

Late time Wilson lines

open access: yes, 2019
In the AdS$_3$/CFT$_2$ correspondence, physical interest attaches to understanding Virasoro conformal blocks at large central charge and in a kinematical regime of large Lorentzian time separation, $t\sim c$.

Return of Kosi river induced by Tibet earthquake [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
Seismotectonics and change in river courses were correlated. Following the elastic rebound theory before the occurrence of the earthquake the subsurface rocks accumulate the energy by the tectonic movement.

Abundance, distribution patterns, and identification of microplastics in Brisbane River sediments, Australia.

open access: yesScience of the Total Environment, 2020
Plastic pollutants in aquatic ecosystems have received wide attention and research endeavours since early 1970s. However, in comparison to marine environments, the occurrence of microplastics in a tidal river system remains largely unknown, especially in

LINC01116, a hypoxia‐lncRNA marker of pathological lymphangiogenesis and poor prognosis in lung adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The LINC01116 long noncoding RNA is induced by hypoxia and associated with poor prognosis and high recurrence rates in two cohorts of lung adenocarcinoma patients. Here, we demonstrate that besides its expression in cancer cells, LINC01116 is markedly expressed in lymphatic endothelial cells of the tumor stroma in which it participates in hypoxia ...

ATF4‐mediated stress response as a therapeutic vulnerability in chordoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We screened 5 chordoma cell lines against 100+ inhibitors of epigenetic and metabolic pathways and kinases and identified halofuginone, a tRNA synthetase inhibitor. Mechanistically halofuginone induces an integrated stress response, with eIF2alpha phosphorylation, activation of ATF4 and its target genes CHOP, ASNS, INHBE leading to cell death ...

Prevalence of antibiotics and antibiotic resistance genes in a wastewater effluent-receiving river in the Netherlands

open access: yesJournal of Environmental Chemical Engineering, 2020
Antibiotics are being used intensively for humans and livestock worldwide and have led to the presence of antibiotic resistance bacteria (ARB) and antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs) in the environment.
