Slow‐transit constipation (STC) is a disabling motility disorder with unclear smooth‐muscle mechanisms. Spatial proteomic analysis of STC patient colon reveals both the central pathogenic role of smooth muscle cells (SMCs) in STC and novel regulators of intestinal motility, BIN1 and ALDH1B1.

The influence of in-stream structures on temperature dynamics via induced hyporheic exchange
In-stream restoration structures, such as woody weirs, are intended to enhance hyporheic exchange, thus altering temperature dynamics in restored reaches. However, the relative effects of various in-stream structure types and streambed settings (i.e. the

Determination of restoration potential on small river reaches in urban environment in Hungary
Urban river reaches are an important element in green infrastructure, but they are typically in worse condition than rural river reaches, so their restoration is an important task.

Thermochemical Micro‐Explosion for Prompt Thrombolysis via Proximal Injection of Liquid Alkali Metal
We report a micro‐explosive thermochemical thrombolysis (METCT) therapy via injectable liquid alkali metal encapsulated in dimethyl silicone (LAM@oil). METCT enables prompt and safe vascular recanalization within 90 s. Critically, the LAM@oil system demonstrates significantly higher thrombolytic efficacy compared to clinically available thrombolytic ...

Magnetomechanical neuromodulation using magnetic nanodiscs enables remote activation of neurons. In a hemiparkinsonian mouse model, alternating magnetic fields actuate the nanodiscs to generate torque that opens mechanosensitive ion channels within the subthalamic nucleus, thereby modulating basal ganglia motor circuitry.
