Anatomical Variations of Recurrent Laryngeal Nerve During Thyroid Surgery: How to Identify and Handle the Variations With Intraoperative Neuromonitoring [PDF]
Recurrent laryngeal nerve (RLN) palsy is the most common and serious complication after thyroid surgery. Visual identification of the RLN during thyroid surgery has been shown to be associated with lower rates of palsy, and although it has been ...

Expression of Relaxin 3 in the Ovarian Follicle of Japanese Quail
The relaxin (RLN) gene is expressed in the reproductive tracts, such as the ovary and uterus, of mammalian species. Although RLN expression is detected in the chicken ovary, detailed clarification of the physiological role of RLN has not yet been ...

Risk of Recurrent laryngeal Nerve Injury In Complete Resection OF Recurrent Multi-nodular Goiter [PDF]
Background: Anatomic and functional preservation of the recurrent laryngeal nerve (RLN) is the gold standard in thyroid and various neck surgery. Aim of the work: To assess incidence and risk factors for (RLN) injury which may be just palsy or permanent
