Ultraviolet (UV) response of p-Si/i-ZnO/n-ZnO (p-i-n) heterojunction photodetectors (HPDs) was dramatically enhanced by inserting a thin SiOx layer to form a p-Si/SiOx/ i-ZnO/n-ZnO structure. It was found that the leakage current of p-i-n HPDs is largely reduced by about three orders compared with that of conventional p-n HPDs.

Magnetic and structural properties of La0.7Sr0.3Mn1-xCrxO3 (x = 0.05, 0.10, 0.20, 0.30, 0.40 and 0.50) have been studied using neutron and x-ray diffraction and magnetic measurements. All samples are found to be of single phase. At 12 K, we find only ferromagnetic ordering for x < 0.30 and coexisting ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic domains for x ...

Magnetism of $L1_{0}{\rm Fe}_{50-{\rm x}}{\rm Co}_{\rm x}{\rm Pt}_{50}$ Films
IEEE Transactions on Magnetics, 2013Films of L10-structure Fe50-xCoxPt50 films are synthesized by co-sputtering Fe, Co and Pt on (001) MgO substrates and Si substrates with in-situ heating at 830°C. The nanostructures and magnetic properties of the films are characterized by X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy and SQUID.

In this work, the effect of transition element ( TE=V, Cu, and Zn) substitution at Mn site on the electron spin resonance (ESR) of Bi0.5Ca0.5MnO3 was explored. The temperature (T) dependent double integrated intensity (DI) and peak to peak linewidth provide the estimation of charge ordering (CO) temperature TCO, long-range antiferromagnetic (AFM) onset

We report here on the preparation, X-ray diffraction with Rietveld refinement, resistivity and AC magnetic susceptibility measurements of (Y1-xEux)(SrBa)Cu3O6.94. Each sample was subject to two types of heat treatment: oxygen annealing [O] and argon annealing followed by oxygen annealing [AO].

Ni-content dependence on magnetostriction, effective magnetic anisotropy and initial permeability for as-quenched amorphous Nix(Fe0.5Co0.5)73.5-xNb3Si13.5B9Cu1 (x=0 ~ 30) alloys annealed at 500°C was investigated. XRD showed that all the amorphous samples were partially nanocrystallized after annealing and a two-phase nanocrystalline structure with α ...
