Non-thermal CMSSM with a 125 GeV Higgs [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
We study the phenomenology of the CMSSM/mSUGRA with non-thermal neutralino dark matter. Besides the standard parameters of the CMSSM we include the reheating temperature as an extra parameter. Imposing radiative electroweak symmetry breaking with a Higgs

Inducing Ferromagnetism by Structural Engineering in a Strongly Spin‐Orbit Coupled Oxide

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Magnetic materials with strong spin‐orbit coupling (SOC) are essential for the advancement of spin‐orbitronic devices, as they enable efficient spin‐charge conversion, complex magnetic structures, spin‐valley physics, topological phases and other exotic phenomena.

Fluorescent Polymeric Nanofibers as Ratiometric Multiplexed Skin Sensors of pH and Oxygen

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Fluorescent polymeric nanofibers and nanorods are produced as ratiometric sensors of two important physiological parameters: pH and oxygen. They operate by dual Forster resonance energy transfer from large number of energy donor dyes to limited number of two distinct energy acceptors, enabling simultaneous sensing of pH and oxygen.

Inferring statistics of planet populations by means of automated microlensing searches [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
(abridged) The study of other worlds is key to understanding our own, and not only provides clues to the origin of our civilization, but also looks into its future. Rather than in identifying nearby systems and learning about their individual properties,

Detection of the nearest Jupiter analog in radial velocity and astrometry data [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
© 2019 The Author(s) Published by Oxford University Press on behalf of the Royal Astronomical Society. The presence of Jupiter is crucial to the architecture of the Solar System and models underline this to be a generic feature of planetary systems.

Porous Coatings by Vapor Sublimation and Deposition for Molecular Channeling and Filtration in an Interstitial Fluid Microfiltration Device

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
A vapor‐based porous coating applied within nitinol tubes demonstrated complete suppression of cellular and tissue ingrowth, overcoming a major limitation of implantable interstitial fluid collection devices. Molecular channeling and diffusion are analyzed with probe molecules, showing reliable transport in vitro and in vivo. The coating also achieved >

Electrophilic dark matter with dark photon: from DAMPE to direct detection

open access: yes, 2017
The electron-positron excess reported by the DAMPE collaboration recently may be explained by an electrophilic dark matter (DM). A standard model singlet fermion may play the role of such a DM when it is stablized by some symmetries, such as a dark $U(1 ...

Evaluation of the Dual Impact of Nanotechnologies on Health and Environment Through Alternative Bridging Models

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This review explores how alternative invertebrate and small‐vertebrate models advance the evaluation of nanomaterials across medicine and environmental science. By bridging cellular and organismal levels, these models enable integrated assessment of toxicity, biodistribution, and therapeutic performance.
