Abstract Uterine rupture is an infrequent yet sometimes fatal complication of a subsequent vaginal birth attempt following a previous uterine surgery. We have chosen to write about spontaneous uterine ruptures following myomectomy due to the scarcity of data on this subject, stemming from the limited number of reported cases.

Updating predictive accident models of modern rural single carriageway A-roads [PDF]
Reliable predictive accident models (PAMs) are essential to design and maintain safe road networks and yet the models most commonly used in the UK were derived using data collected 20 to 30 years ago.

Changes in Lower Eyelid Appearance Following Zygomaticomaxillary Complex Fractures
Several papers have recently described a loss of lower eyelid bags and resulting lower eyelid bag asymmetry in patients with orbital fractures and surgical reconstruction. This study described 104 patients with zygomaticomaxillary complex (ZMC) fractures and different treatments.

Traffic Safety in Sudan: Magnitude and Future Challenges [PDF]
The performance of road safety in Sudan has generally deteriorated over the last few years as accident rates have witnessed a tremendous increase. The number of road accidents was 23850 in 2001 rising to a total of 38515 in 2005, then to 61428 accidents ...

An Intelligent Monitoring System of Vehicles on Highway Traffic
Vehicle speed monitoring and management of highways is the critical problem of the road in this modern age of growing technology and population. A poor management results in frequent traffic jam, traffic rules violation and fatal road accidents.

ABSTRACT The analysis of certain properties of the underlying graph of a public transport network generates insights about the network's structure. Hereby, the choice of the graph representation depends on a trade‐off between complexity reduction and information preservation to adequately model a public transport network.

An Exact Method for Reliable Shortest Path Problems With Correlation
ABSTRACT Shortest path problems often arise in contexts where travel times are uncertain. In these settings, reliable paths are often valued more than paths with lower expected travel times. This has led to several variants of reliable shortest path problems (RSPP) that handle travel time reliability differently. We propose an algorithmic framework for
