Flash Assembloids: A Rapid Biofabrication of a Platform for Modeling Early Glioblastoma Invasion at the Glioblastoma–Brain Organoid Interfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents a bioengineered assembloid (ASM) system combining glioblastoma (GBM) cells in oxidized alginate (OA) microgels with dorsal organoids (DOs). This model simulates brain tumor‐host interactions, revealing enhanced GBM invasion, altered gene expression, and aggressive infiltration patterns, demonstrating ASM as a valuable platform for ...

Mechanically Compliant, Precision‐Porous Brain Implants Reduce the Foreign Body Reaction and Guide Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This study explores how the brain responds to implants of different properties. Hydrogels with various mechanical properties and pore sizes were implanted in adult rat brains. It is observed that hydrogels with mechanical property closely matched to the brain and 40 µm pore size elicit a pro‐healing response from the brain by modulating the immune ...

Nonlinear nonhomogeneous Robin problems with dependence on the gradient

open access: yesBoundary Value Problems, 2018
We consider a nonlinear elliptic equation driven by a nonhomogeneous partial differential operator with Robin boundary condition and a convection term.

Existence results of nonlocal Robin boundary value problems for fractional ( p , q ) $(p,q)$ -integrodifference equations

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2020
The existence results of a fractional ( p , q ) $(p,q)$ -integrodifference equation with nonlocal Robin boundary condition are investigated by using Banach’s and Schauder’s fixed point theorems.

Self‐Assembled Inorganic Nanomembrane Tubes: Rolled‐Up Piezoelectrics for Microacoustic Wave‐Based Actuators and Sensors

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates a self‐assembly process to generate free‐standing piezoelectric nanomembranes, forming ultracompact microtubular acoustic wave sensors and actuators. The miniaturized 3D piezoelectric platform reported in this work can be applied in telecommunication, energy harvesting, and acoustofluidics. Moreover, the 3D self‐assembly can add

Sub‐Nanometer Curvature Unlocks Quantum Orbital Flexoelectricity in Graphene

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
In self‐assembled, reproducible, large‐area, quasi‐pristine graphene nanowrinkles, extreme curvature forces out‐of‐plane π‐electrons toward hybridization, driving a transition from classical to quantum orbital flexoelectricity. As curvature approaches the fundamental physical limit set by the C─C bond length, the resulting polarization increases by ...

Ligand Engineering for Precise Control of Ultrathin CsPbI3 Nanoplatelet Superlattices for Efficient Light‐Emitting Diodes

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
In this work, we introduce ancillary‐ligand‐mediated growth control of ultrathin CsPbI3 PeNPLs to achieve highly uniform thickness and reduced agglomeration. Strong ancillary‐ligand coordination to the perovskite surface regulates nucleation and improves surface passivation, enabling color‐pure emission and preferentially oriented superlattices.

Uniform stabilization and exact controllability for hyperbolic systems with discontinuous coefficients

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2007
This paper considers a hyperbolic system with discontinuous coefficients in a bounded, open, connected set with smooth boundary and controlled through the Robin boundary condition. Uniform stabilization of the solutions are established.

Partial Fourier Transform Method for Solution Formula of Stokes Equation with Robin Boundary Condition in Half-space

open access: yesJTAM (Jurnal Teori dan Aplikasi Matematika)
The area of applied science known as fluid dynamics studied how gases and liquids moved. The motion of the fluid in the liquid and vapour phases is described by a special system of partial differential equations.
