Hardy inequalities for Robin Laplacians [PDF]
In this paper we establish a Hardy inequality for Laplace operators with Robin boundary conditions. For convex domains, in particular, we show explicitly how the corresponding Hardy weight depends on the coefficient of the Robin boundary conditions.

Regularity of Solutions of Linear Second Order Elliptic and Parabolic Boundary Value Problems on Lipschitz Domains [PDF]
For a linear, strictly elliptic second order differential operator in divergence form with bounded, measurable coefficients on a Lipschitz domain $\Omega$ we show that solutions of the corresponding elliptic problem with Robin and thus in particular with

Stability estimates for a Robin coefficient in the two-dimensional Stokes system [PDF]
In this paper, we consider the Stokes equations and we are concerned with the inverse problem of identifying a Robin coefficient on some non accessible part of the boundary from available data on the other part of the boundary.

The C_2 heat-kernel coefficient in the presence of boundary discontinuities [PDF]
We consider the heat-kernel on a manifold whose boundary is piecewise smooth. The set of independent geometrical quantities required to construct an expression for the contribution of the boundary discontinuities to the C_{2} heat-kernel coefficient is ...

Boundary dynamics and multiple reflection expansion for Robin boundary conditions [PDF]
In the presence of a boundary interaction, Neumann boundary conditions should be modified to contain a function S of the boundary fields: (\nabla_N +S)\phi =0.

Thin waveguides with Robin boundary conditions
We consider the Laplace operator in a thin three dimensional tube with a Robin type condition on its boundary and study, asymptotically, the spectrum of such operator as the diameter of the tube's cross section becomes infinitesimal. In contrast with the

Symmetrized Perturbation Determinants and Applications to Boundary Data Maps and Krein-Type Resolvent Formulas [PDF]
The aim of this paper is twofold: On one hand we discuss an abstract approach to symmetrized Fredholm perturbation determinants and an associated trace formula for a pair of operators of positive-type, extending a classical trace formula.

We study a real, massive Klein-Gordon field in the Poincar\'e fundamental domain of the $(d+1)$-dimensional anti-de Sitter (AdS) spacetime, subject to a particular choice of dynamical boundary conditions of generalized Wentzell type, whereby the boundary

The heat trace asymptotics are discussed for operators of Laplace type with Dirichlet, Robin, spectral, D/N, and transmittal boundary conditions. The heat content asymptotics are discussed for operators with time dependent coefficients and Dirichlet or ...
