Multi‐crystal X‐ray diffraction (MCXRD) methods allow accurate structural characterisation with crystals too small for single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction and too large for electron diffraction, as demonstrated here for metal‐organic frameworks, and alleviate the radiation‐induced chemical changes that can result from using high‐intensity X‐ray sources to

Rangewide responses of Mimulus cardinalis to an extreme heat event
Abstract Premise Extreme events are an understudied aspect of ongoing anthropogenic climate change that could play a disproportionate role in the threat that rapid environmental shifts pose to natural populations. Methods We exposed plants originating from seeds that were harvested before (ancestors) and after (descendants) multiple extreme heat events

Unexpected Dual Function of Plant YUCCA Enzymes Links Chlorophyll Catabolism to Auxin Homeostasis
YUCCA enzymes are well known to catalyze the main step of auxin biosynthesis in plants. Here, a hitherto undescribed dual function was discovered, revealing that some YUCCAs also act in chlorophyll degradation. In vitro feedback regulation furthermore suggests a link between chlorophyll degradation and hormone homeostasis and a physiological role of ...

A Murine Bispecific Antibody Efficiently Redirects T Cells Against Calr Mutated Stem Cells In Vivo
ABSTRACT Calreticulin (CALR) mutations are prevalent in 20%–30% of patients with BCR::ABL1‐negative myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN). Mutant calreticulin (mutCALR), presented by the thrombopoietin receptor (MPL, also known as TPOR or CD110) on the surface of the disease‐initiating MPN progenitors, represents an ideal target for curative ...

ABSTRACT The ciliopathies are a group of genetic disorders caused by defective function of either the primary cilia (a large number) or the motile cilia (a much smaller number). These have been defined as diseases with mutations in genes encoding individual ciliary or cilia‐associated proteins.

Neumann-Robin problem for p(x)-Laplacian equations in a domain with the boundary edge
We investigate the behavior of weak solutions to the mixed problem with Neumann and Robin boundary conditions for an elliptic quasi-linear second-order equation with the variable $p(x)$-Laplacian in a neighborhood of the boundary edge.
