Development of an Induction Supported Roll to Roll Process for the Accelerated Drying of Water‐Based Anodes and N‐Methyl‐2‐Pyrrolidone‐Based Cathodes for Lithium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesEnergy Technology, EarlyView.
This publication presents a detailed exploration of the implementation of induction heating in the drying process of lithium‐ion‐battery electrodes. It examines the critical parameters affecting heating efficiency, addresses challenges related to the process control, and evaluates the resulting electrode quality.

Ecological and developmental history impacts the equitable distribution of services

open access: yesFrontiers in Ecology and the Environment, EarlyView.
The ecological and developmental history of the Chicago, Illinois, region has affected the current distribution of forests therein. These same factors, along with systemic and long‐lasting racial segregation, have shaped the distribution of the urban populations that benefit from the ecosystem services provided by urban forests. This study demonstrates

Lifetime of the Gas Evolution Electrode of the Zn–H2 Storage System

open access: yesFuel Cells, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT A novel electrically chargeable galvanic system is presented that efficiently stores energy in the form of zinc and releases hydrogen and electricity upon discharge. In this concept, oxygen is released at the gas electrode during charging, and zinc oxide is reduced to metallic zinc at the counter electrode.

Estimating the Cost and Carbon Output of Musculoskeletal Primary Care Management Decisions: A Retrospective Analysis of Electronic Health Records

open access: yesThe International Journal of Health Planning and Management, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Healthcare accounts for up to 5% of worldwide carbon emissions and costs global economies an estimated $9 trillion annually. Primary care accounts for up to one‐fifth of all NHS carbon emissions, with musculoskeletal (MSK) pain accounting for 14%–30% of all primary care consultations.

Real‐world comparative effectiveness and safety of Pertuzumab in patients with HER2+ metastatic breast cancer: A pan‐Canadian population‐based cohort study

open access: yesInternational Journal of Cancer, EarlyView.
What's New? In Canada, complexities surrounding provincial cancer care and data access challenge the collection of robust multijurisdictional real‐world evidence (RWE) on cancer therapies. RWE, however, can provide critical insight into the safety and effectiveness of novel therapies. Here, for the Canadian Real‐world Evidence for Value of Cancer Drugs
