The scaling of seed‐dispersal specialization in interaction networks across levels of organization
Natural ecosystems are characterized by a specialization pattern where few species are common while many others are rare. In ecological networks involving biotic interactions, specialization operates as a continuum at individual, species, and community levels. Theory predicts that ecological and evolutionary factors can primarily explain specialization.

Wild Animal Suffering Is Not Intractable: A Precautionary Approach to Compassionate Intervention
ABSTRACT Wild animals suffer due to human activity, yet natural factors contribute far more significantly to their suffering. In light of this, some propose that we have a pro tanto obligation to intervene in ecosystems to improve wild animal welfare.

Molluscum Contagiosum Occurring in an Epidermal Cyst: A Mexican Case Series
ABSTRACT Background The reports of the presence of molluscum contagiosum (MCV) within epidermoid cysts are rare. There are only a few descriptions about the clinical and histopathological characteristics of this entity. Objectives To describe the clinical and histopathology characteristics of a case series of MCV within epidermoid cysts in Mexican ...

Due to the constraints of limited effort and sampling error, observed species interaction networks are an imperfect representation of the ‘true' underlying community. Link prediction methods allow us to construct a potentially more complete representation of a given empirical network by guiding targeted sampling of predicted links, as well as offer ...

Anomalous electron heating effects on the E region ionosphere in TIEGCM [PDF]
We have recently implemented a new module that includes both the anomalous electron heating and the electron‐neutral cooling rate correction associated with the Farley‐Buneman Instability (FBI) in the thermosphere‐ionosphere electrodynamics global ...
