A decentralized adaptive robust method for chaos control
Chaos: An Interdisciplinary Journal of Nonlinear Science, 2009This paper presents a control strategy, which is based on sliding mode control, adaptive control, and fuzzy logic system for controlling the chaotic dynamics. We consider this control paradigm in chaotic systems where the equations of motion are not known.

A robust chaos-based image encryption scheme
2009 IEEE International Conference on Multimedia and Expo, 2009A DCT domain image encryption scheme based on chaotic shuffling table is proposed, in which the shuffling tables are generated by several Logistic maps. This scheme is robust to normal image processing, such as noising, smoothing, compressing, and even print-scan processing.

CHAOS, BIFURCATION AND ROBUSTNESS OF A CLASS OF HOPFIELD NEURAL NETWORKS
International Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos, 2011Chaos, bifurcation and robustness of a new class of Hopfield neural networks are investigated. Numerical simulations show that the simple Hopfield neural networks can display chaotic attractors and limit cycles for different parameters. The Lyapunov exponents are calculated, the bifurcation plot and several important phase portraits are presented as ...

ROBUST CONTROL OF SPATIOTEMPORAL CHAOS IN COUPLED MAP LATTICES
International Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos, 2009In this paper, a new method for controlling spatiotemporal chaos in discrete-time spatially extended systems modeled by coupled map lattices is proposed. This method is based on quasi-sliding mode using a Lyapunov function. This method enables the system to drive the chaotic motion toward any desired trajectory via a sliding surface in the error space.

On the robust chaos synchronization of RCLSJ models
2008 IEEE Conference on Soft Computing in Industrial Applications, 2008This paper is concerned with the robust chaos synchronization problem for coupled RCL-shunted Josephson junction (RCLSJ) models. The variable structure control (VSC) technique is introduced to propose a nonlinear controller such that the coupled RCLSJ models with different parameters can be synchronized even when the uncertainties are present.

A Novel Chaos Based Robust Watermarking Framework
2016In this paper, a novel logo watermarking framework is proposed using non-linear chaotic map. The essence of proposed technique is to use chaotic map to generate keys to be used in the embedding process. Therefore, a method for generating keys is first proposed followed by the embedding process. A robust extraction process is then proposed to verify the

Robust chaos in systems of circular geometry
2017 Progress In Electromagnetics Research Symposium - Spring (PIERS), 2017We propose two models of systems that manifest robust chaotic regimes associated with uniformly hyperbolic attractors. The model schemes are rings of oscillators and nonlinear elements arranged in such way that signals undergo special transformation during full rotation along the rings.

A modifid robust adaptive chaos synchronization
2004 International Conference on Signal Processing and Communications, 2004. SPCOM '04., 2005In this paper, a modified robust adaptive chaos synchronization structure is proposed. To increasing the security of the communication network the parameters of the chaotic transmitter is changed. By changing the parameters of the chaotic transmitter (sender section) the conventional state observer (receiver section) cannot be retrieved the actual ...

Robust chaos in dynamic optimization models
Ricerche Economiche, 1994Summary: The purpose of this paper is to investigate the (theoretical) importance of chaos as a phenomenon occurring in dynamic optimization problems. The intertemporal models we focus on are specified by a standard aggregative production function, an immediate return function depending on current consumption, capital input and a taste parameter, and a
