Robust Implementation in Direct Mechanisms [PDF]
A social choice function is robustly implementable if there is a mechanism under which the process of iteratively eliminating strictly dominated messages leads to outcomes that agree with the social choice function for all beliefs at every type profile ...

Robust H∞ Control Implementation in IFOC for High-Performance Electric Vehicle Induction Motors [PDF]
This paper presents an indirect field-oriented control method with rotor flux orientation applied to induction motors, enhanced by robust controllers. This approach aims to optimize the motor's dynamic performance, allowing for more precise control of ...

This study explores salivary RNA for breast cancer (BC) diagnosis, prognosis, and follow‐up. High‐throughput RNA sequencing identified distinct salivary RNA signatures, including novel transcripts, that differentiate BC from healthy controls, characterize histological and molecular subtypes, and indicate lymph node involvement.

Blind Direct Multiuser Detection for Uplink MC-CDMA: Performance Analysis and Robust Implementation
We consider the problem of blind (i.e., without training sequences) linear mitigation of multiple-access interference in the uplink of quasi-synchronous multicarrier code-division multiple-access (MC-CDMA) systems.

Robust and parsimonious realisations of unitaries in the one-way model [PDF]
We present a new set of generators for unitary maps over \otimes^n(C^2) which differs from the traditional rotation-based generating set in that it uses a single-parameter family of 1-qubit unitaries J(a), together with a single 2-qubit unitary ...

Bridging the gap: Multi‐stakeholder perspectives of molecular diagnostics in oncology
Although molecular diagnostics is transforming cancer care, implementing novel technologies remains challenging. This study identifies unmet needs and technology requirements through a two‐step stakeholder involvement. Liquid biopsies for monitoring applications and predictive biomarker testing emerge as key unmet needs. Technology requirements vary by

Geometric algorithms rely on predicates, among them, the 2D and 3D orientation and incircle tests are important ones. Shewchuk's adaptive floating-point predicate is a well-known C implementation, which is embedded in many computational geometry ...

This study indicates that Merkel cell carcinoma (MCC) does not originate from Merkel cells, and identifies gene, protein & cellular expression of immune‐linked and neuroendocrine markers in primary and metastatic Merkel cell carcinoma (MCC) tumor samples, linked to Merkel cell polyomavirus (MCPyV) status, with enrichment of B‐cell and other immune cell
