Crustose Roccellaceae in The Galapagos Islands, With The New Species Schismatomma Spierii
Bryologist, 2008The crustose Roccellaceae, excluding Opegrapha, on the Galapagos Islands were investigated. In total, 24 species were identified, most of which are new records not only for the archipelago, but also for Ecuador. These include Schismatomma spierii, which is described as new to science.

A new species of lichen genus Syncesia (Roccellaceae) from India
Bryologist, 2011The new lichen species Syncesia indica is described from southern India and is characterized by stromatoid ascomata, 3-septate small ascospores, and presence of protocetraric acid and traces of roccellic acid. The new taxon grows on tree trunk in evergreen forest in Shradighat regions of Karnataka. A key of all species included in the genus is provided.

Fungal Diversity, 2014A two-locus phylogenetic hypothesis of the family Roccellaceae is presented based on data from the nuclear ribosomal large subunit (nucLSU) and the second largest subunit of RNA polymerase II (RPB2). This analysis includes 341 sequences (166 newly generated) and 180 specimens representing about 114 species.
