Early Cretaceous absolute geomagnetic paleointensities from Córdoba province (Argentina) [PDF]
We present here new paleointensity and geochronology results from Early Cretaceous volcanic rocks of Sierra Chica de Cordoba (Argentina). The new K-Ar isotopic ages of 5 samples range from 136 to 122 Ma.

Analysis of wasp-waisted hysteresis loops in magnetic rocks
The random-field Ising model of hysteresis is generalized to dilute magnets and solved on a Bethe lattice. Exact expressions for the major and minor hysteresis loops are obtained.

Further evidence for early lunar magnetism from troctolite 76535 [PDF]
The earliest history of the lunar dynamo is largely unknown and has important implications for the thermal state of the Moon and the physics of dynamo generation.

Hydrothermal synthesis, off-axis electron holography and magnetic properties of Fe$_{3}$O$_{4}$ nanoparticles [PDF]
The hydrothermal synthesis of Fe3O4 nanoparticles (NPs) (< 50 nm) from mixed FeCl3 / FeCl2 precursor solution at pH ~ 12 has been confirmed using complementary characterisation techniques of transmission electron microscopy and X-ray diffractometry.

Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.

Functional Connectivity Linked to Cognitive Recovery After Minor Stroke
ABSTRACT Objective Patients with minor stroke exhibit slowed processing speed and generalized alterations in functional connectivity involving frontoparietal cortex (FPC). The pattern of connectivity evolves over time. In this study, we examine the relationship of functional connectivity patterns to cognitive performance, to determine ...
