Rock-Cut Tomb GE 89 Recently Excavated at Giza
The Journal of Egyptian ArchaeologyThe rock tomb GE 89 was discovered during the GPR survey of the area in the extreme eastern edge of the Eastern Necropolis at Giza, northwest from the rock tomb of Kakherptah (GE 7721). GE 89 is an L-shaped tomb, with a layout similar to G 7721; it consists of two rooms separated by pillars.

Ancient Near Eastern Studies, 2003This article deals with five rock-cut tombs and an open-air shrine located at Madavank, near Van, in eastern Turkey. These monuments are described, analysed and compared with the similar structures built by the Urartians.It is proposed that the tombs and the open-air shrine at Madavank comprise a unique complex for the Van region.

2015This thesis examines Etruscan rock-cut tombs that are characteristic for inland southern Etruria and are dated from second quarter of the 6th century BC to the end of 3rd and beginning of the 2nd century BC. Thesis is focused on the architecture of the tombs, their typology, decoration, iconography and their architectural evolution.
