Crater Observing Bioinspired Rolling Articulator (COBRA)
Crater Observing Bio‐inspired Rolling Articulator (COBRA) is a modular, snake‐inspired robot that addresses the mobility challenges of extraterrestrial exploration sites such as Shackleton Crater. Incorporating snake‐like gaits and tumbling locomotion, COBRA navigates both uneven surfaces and steep crater walls.

Worm‐Inspired Soft Robots With Modular Outfit‐Changing for Intelligent Multienvironment Adaptation
This study proposes a worm‐inspired soft robot capable of locomotion across multiple environments through a modular “outfit‐changing” strategy. The robot integrates pneumatically actuated peristaltic segments with interchangeable external modules, enabling efficient motion on ground surfaces, within pipelines, through granular media, and underwater ...

Wind‐driven seed dispersal differentially promotes seed trapping and retention across alpine plants
Abstract Premise Seed dispersal can mediate species interactions between plants across life stages. Plants can physically stop seed movement (seed trapping) and prevent further dispersal following entrapment (seed retention). We therefore hypothesized seed trapping and retention rates depend on the physical attributes of interacting seeds and plants ...

Bethlehem in the Bronze and Iron Ages in the light of recent discoveries by the Palestinian MOTA-DACH [PDF]
The discovery of the necropolis of Khalet al-Jam’a, around 2.2 Km south-east of Bethlehem (Nigro et al. in this volume), provides new data on the Bronze and Iron Age town which controlled the main route connecting Jerusalem to Hebron, and the access to ...

ABSTRACT Coal is a natural macromolecular substance composed of complex organic molecules and a small amount of minerals. Its chemical composition and microstructure are highly complex and variable, and no unified definition exists. This inherent structural complexity underscores the theoretical significance of constructing accurate macromolecular ...

Yemeni Mummies: Ahistory Between Preservation and Loss
Yemen is considered to be one of the countries that have developed a technique for preserving and mummifying bodies using aromatic plant materials found in the Yemeni environment. The practice of mummification is not only a religious tradition associated

ABSTRACT Water pollution by oil and organic substances causes serious problems that threaten the ecosystem. Superhydrophobic materials represent an effective solution for removing oil from water. The present paper investigates the development of a low‐cost, superhydrophobic composite for oil–water separation.

ABSTRACT This study investigates the rheological behavior of industrial phosphoric acids (H3PO4) produced at the JORF–LASFAR phosphoric plant in Morocco, with P2O5 concentrations of 18%, 29%, 42%, and 54%. Rheological measurements were performed using a rotary cylinder rheometer over a shear rate range of 1–1000 s−1.
