The relationship between the magnetization and temperature in a high constant magnetic field for a temperature range between 5 K and 1100 K was examined for Apollo 11, 12 and 14 lunar materials. The average value of Curie point temperature is (768.2 ± 3.5)°C for the lunar igneous rocks and (762.5 ± 3.4)°C for the lunar fines and breccias.

Journal of the Geological Society of Australia, 1954Abstract Measurements of intensity of magnetization and susceptibility have been made at intervals of 5 ft. on some bore cores from Tasmanian tholeiites of Jurassic age. In all cases the direction of magnetization was nearly vertical. One sill appears to have its upper 700 ft. magnetized normally and its lower part reversed.

International Geology Review, 1967Paleomagnetic studies of effusive rocks from the Middle Devonian Onguday and Kuratinsk suites (Altay-Sayan) showed that collected specimens possessed natural remanent magnetism in excess of the background average induced by the present geomagnetic field for the suites by two orders of magnitude.
