Comparison of Rock Mass Classification Systems in Estimating the Strength of a Rock Mass
This thesis is a comparative study for assessing the strength of a rock mass through rock mass classification systems, empirical estimations, and geotechnical modelling software, against real-world data. Often, geotechnical engineers are unable to estimate the strength of a rock mass with absolute certainty.
