Determination of rockburst hypocentres

To detect and to locate the frequently occurring rockbursts within the mining area at Grangesberg, Sweden, the mining company has installed a local network of geophones. Mathematical technique is presented for hypocentre determination assuming a constant velocity model and a three-dimensional network of geophones with high-speed recording.
