Kinetic Compensation of Barrel Launch Under High‐Speed Solid‐Phase Particulate Impacts

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mechanical System Dynamics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT An accurate launch‐dynamics computational method is critical for barrel weapon service life assessment and multiphase physics field refinement. Given the lack of studies on the solid‐phase buildup behavior at the projectile base, this paper provides an improved method for calculating the launching dynamics under high pressure and high speed ...

Liquid Rocket Engine.

open access: yesJAPANESE JOURNAL OF MULTIPHASE FLOW, 1997
PURPOSE:To boost propellant to a high pressure without using a subcombustor by reheating a part of the propellant heated by the heat of a combustor by using a heat exchange means in a nozzle part. CONSTITUTION:The liquid hydrogen as fuel and liquid oxygen as oxidizer are pressurized to each high pressure by boosters 3 and 4.

High‐Performance Oxidation and Nanomolar Detection of Phenylhydrazine Using a 6‐Hydroxyflavone‐Based Molecular Electrocatalyst Functionalized Multiwalled Carbon Nanotube in Batch Injection Analysis

open access: yesChemistryOpen, EarlyView.
This study presents a novel, rapid method for in situ functionalization of carbon electrodes using redox‐active form of the 6‐hydroxyflavone. The resulting multiwalled carbon nanotubes with redox‐active HFLA (MWCNT@HFLA‐Redox) electrode enables sensitive, selective detection of toxic phenylhydrazine, with excellent performance (limit of detection: 7 nM)
