Short Review on Rocket Propellant
ロケット推進剤としては化学エネルギ, 核エネルギおよび太陽エネルギを利用するものが考えられるが, 本報では主として化学エネルギによる推進剤について解説した。まず, ロケットの基本原理によれば大きな比推力を得るには燃焼生成物の温度が高く平均分子量がなるべく小さいことが要求される。このため燃料成分としてはH, Li, Be, Bなどの元素から成る化合物, 酸化剤としては0およびFの化合物が適している。この中, Beなどは資源酌ならびにその他の制約があるので, 現在の水準ではBの水素化物が注目されている。しかし, たとえばB10H14などはBの毒性が強いという欠点があるので, Bの水素化物の水素をアルキル基で置換したものが脚光を浴びることになろう。さらに本報で略衝推進剤の基本的性質 ...
